1. Am I interested in the industry the startup is working in, and is it possible to do individual projects. If its a Yes, then I will consider for sure
2. The imp criteria for me is the people. And I have three evaluations for founders
- Do they have expertise/wonderful contacts in the industry.
- The founder's previous ventures or his College should be well named( because in general if they come from IIMs or the IITs,it natural that they will have other friends who are either entrepreneurs or in a good position so its a BIG YES. Networking becomes easy
I have worked with couple of startups for now, so right now I ma kind a picky with people. Because if the startup fails, you will at least feel you had spent time and learnt with a great founder.
